What They're Not Telling You
About The "Official" Unemployment Rate

First of all, there's two unemployment rates: The BS 'Official Unemployment Rate' and the REAL Unemployment Rate.

What's the difference between the two?

This: If you can't find a job and simply give up looking, they no longer count you in the official unemployment rate.  You are dropped from the statistics like you don't even exist.  This is why the 'official' unemployment rate is a totally bogus number.
=
You may have noticed the media crowing the last week because the official unemployment rate has dropped from 8.6 % of the American population back in February to 8.1% on May 4th.

Here's what they didn't tell you:  the reason the official unemployment rate is dropping is because millions more Americans dropped out of the private sector labor force.  When the labor force shrinks, so does the percentage of the people who are officially unemployed.

Try to wrap your mind around that for a second.  Despite 30 years population growth, we now have the same size labor force that we did in 1982.  So many people have simply given up and are not being counted any more after dropping out of the labor force that the official unemployment rate has dropped .5% from 8.6 to 8.1.

And the White House and their propaganda bitches in the MSM have spent the past week trying to sell this to America as GOOD NEWS.

Did you hear the GOOD NEWS?! The unemployment rate is dropping!  Obama's policies are working! The recovery continues!

You know what's doubly infuriating? If enough Americans give up in despair and the official unemployment rate drops below 8%, Obama and the Democrats are just shameless enough to campaign on that.

Let's hope most voters aren't gullible enough to fall for this.
