Some nights I lie awake wondering how much tougher we'd have it if Rahm Emanuel had won that power struggle in the White House 3 years ago instead of Valerie Jarrett.

Rahm was the pragmatist. Jarrett is the rabid ideologist. We can thank her for much of the Obama admin.'s missteps and blunders. You do not cross her. Ever. And you certainly don't disagree with her views.
Jarrett is a key reason why Obama is so out of touch and clueless about things because she actually makes sure the bubble he lives in never gets popped. We can only hope the bubble remains unpopped and they sail blithely on to Nov. 6.
