Last night I was getting some sleep before heading off to work around 12 midnight.  Around 11:15 I suddenly snapped wide awake, thinking about that last speech Andrew Breitbart gave at CPAC.

Then I jumped out of bed and in a stream of consciousness style I wrote the following:

Not only was there faster action on the Secret Service scandal, look what happened TODAY within hours of the LA Times publishing this story:

It had just turned 6:00 pm here in Texas when I took that screenshot, so that means this story was going up on Yahoo News around 4:30 in the afternoon - almost exactly 12 hours after the LA Times published these 2 year old pictures.  

Investigative Journalist for CBS Sharyl  Attkisson has a point - why the instant leaping to deal with scandals involving the Secret Service and the US Military, but no leaping of any kind to address a scandal that's been ongoing for 2 years now that resulted in over 200 deaths, including that of US Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry?  

I refused to pay a hooker.

First a little history lesson about Right To Work: It used to be almost every state in America was closed Union shop.  You had to belong to a union to get a job.  Or the way Liberals snidely put it,  you were 'volunteering' to join the union and pay dues to get the job.  


Roundabout the 1940's many Americans had had enough of that union strong arm BS and many states started to enact Right To Work laws, making being in a union and paying dues voluntary activities instead of necessities to be employed.  


But by the early 1960's, the unions had figured out how to counter what was happening.  


Take a look at this chart:

From 1940 to 1960, a total of 18 states enacted Right-To-Work laws.  But notice what happened between 1963 and 2001: a grand total of just 4 states managed to follow suit.  That's 4 states in 38 years as opposed to 18 states in the 20 years between 1940 and 1960. 

So what happened?  Unions learned to nationally coordinate with money and manpower to isolate and then turn back any attempt of a single state to enact Right-To-Work legislation.  Until Indiana managed to do it last year,  only 4 states in the South or West with big Conservative majorities managed to fight off the national union & Democrat coordination: Wyoming, Louisiana, Idaho and Oklahoma.  

Not only have Unions been pumping millions into Democratic coffers to turn back Right-To-Work laws, they've also been nationally coordinating to turn back any attempts at reforming the union's contracts and collective bargaining ability.

This is why the fight currently underway in Wisconsin is so crucial.  Unions have used the millions they've raised in dues money to bribe Democratic politicians to give them unbelievably generous contracts, pensions and benefits for decades.  And they've used their clout and influence to stall and destroy any attempts to stop the insane spending and tax increases that have to be made to keep the machine fed.  

Any single Governor, Legislator or Senator that tried to reign in the union's free-for-all big spending ways quickly found themselves surrounded, outnumbered, outspent and out-manned.  The fight was often over before it even really got started.  Because the Unions would coordinate nationally with millions of out-of-state-money and manpower, quickly and easily overwhelming the local state opposition.  

NOT ANY MORE.  

With the advent of the New Media and the internet, it's not just the Unions and the Democratic Party nationally organizing $ and manpower to the point of attack.  Now Conservatives can too.  

And now there's more than one battleground.  Instead of having just one state to target, isolate and overwhelm, the Unions have to disperse their national money and manpower among several states where these fights are going on simultaneously.  

And don't think the Old Media, the Unions, and the Democratic Party haven't noticed this.  Instead of a quick, easy victory over Walker's reforms, they are not only having to fight for it, they are LOSING.

And they are NOT used to losing. At all.  

For decades they were able to run up spending, taxes and benefits without any accountability because with millions in union dues to spend on buying politicians, it was hard to take them on.  

That all changed with the 2007 recession however.  Economic times are so bad that problems that were reckoned to be decades off are now looming just around the corner, and they have to be dealt with now.  So state governors and legislatures are being forced by economic reality to finally come to grips with the problems represented by unfunded pension liabilities as well as over-promised - and often way overgenerous - benefits packages awarded to unions in the past.

This is how attempts to keep from raising property taxes again and asking state workers that contribute 0% to their own pension funds became Ground Zero in Wisconsin as a national war to reassert fiscal sustainability got  started because Unions wouldn't budge.  Temporary givebacks were not going to solve these problems, what was needed was real reform to the unsustainable structure itself.  

Public employee allowed to unionize? 

Ooooh - bad idea! 

People need to remember unions for public sector workers didn't exist in America until the late 1950's.  Even FDR wouldn't allow public employees to unionize, and for good reasons.  Now we are seeing states teetering on the brink of fiscal insolvency, with plenty of cities and towns having either gone bankrupt or about to because politicians in the union's pockets have been over-promising benefits and pensions, spending billions of future dollars that might not ever materialize now.  

We can't lose this fight in Wisconsin and in other states where the battle is being joined.  Do everything you can to support Scott Walker and his fellow Republicans in fighting off this attempt to return to the status quo.

Progressives not only aren't for strong nuclear families, they've spent decades attacking and undermining the very concept.  

The support/security/help Conserv. seek from family, community, church, etc. Liberals seek from total strangers.

This is because Progressivism seeks a version of complete and total personal autonomy from family, community, church, even country

Because of this, they want their support/security/help to come because Big Brother tells strangers to give it to them.

Recipriocity is the basis of all family & community relationships. We serve and are served ourselves. Love & are loved,

Liberals want to be served without serving, to be loved without loving. They should get it from strangers cause they deserve it.

This is why they can demand stuff from others they don't even like: because no other way for them to 'make it'.

So..that's how they can turn to the 80% of the country that isn't Progressive and say: I hate you, your families, your churches.. 

 ..I hate my community, I can't stand this f**king country...now pay for my birth control, my healthcare and whatever else I want!"

This is what Senate Leader Harry Reid had to say yesterday after the Senate voted down Obama's Big Idea of his 2012 re-election campaign for reforming the tax code, reducing the deficit, and spurring economic growth:

Washington, D.C.—Nevada Senator Harry Reid issued the following statement after Senate Republicans blocked the Paying a Fair Share Act, which would have required taxpayers earning over $1 million a year to pay a 30 percent tax rate. 

“Today Senate Republicans again put millionaires ahead of the middle class. Currently, most hedge fund managers pay a lower tax rate than many of their middle-class employees – but while the incomes for the wealthy have ballooned in recent years, middle-class wages haven’t kept pace with the price of a college education or a secure retirement. The measure that Republicans blocked today would have restored fairness to our tax code and reduced the deficit without asking middle class families or seniors to sacrifice any more than they already have. 

“Unfortunately, my Republican colleagues would rather end Medicare as we know it than build a stronger middle class or ask millionaires to contribute an extra penny. Democrats will not stop fighting to restore fairness to our tax code, and I hope that in the future, my Republican colleagues will think of the teacher and the mechanic before the wealthiest Americans.”

It isn't just Harry Reid trying to obscure the truth here. Look at how the Huffington Post described what happened yesterday in it's opening paragraph:

WASHINGTON -- Democrats' attempt to pass a Buffett Rule tax on the super wealthy failed Monday in the Senate, as Republicans blocked the measure in a sharply partisan debate. 

Democrats cast it as a bid for fairness that would end the circumstance in which billionaires like Warren Buffett pay a lower percentage of their income in taxes than their secretaries. 

Republicans cast it as a political gimmick and an attempt by President Barack Obama to give more Americans a "free ride." 

It was blocked 51-45 in a filibuster vote. Republican Sen. Susan Collins of Maine and Democratic Sen. Mark Pryor of Arkansas were the only politicians to cross party lines.

Let's remember how deeply unpopular Obama's agenda for America has been.  His signature 'accomplishment', the Health Care Reform Act, was only passed after almost 9 months of bribery and arm-twisting directed at MEMBERS OF HIS OWN PARTY in a desperate attempt to get many of them to vote for it even though it was essentially a vote to give up their seats in Congress.  

This was when Democrats held what is known as a Super-Majority, which means not only did they have total and complete control of both houses of the Congress, they had such an overwhelming majority in both houses that they didn't need a single Republican vote to pass ANYTHING.  

Nobody read it. Nobody understands what it will do. 

That was the point of passing it, by the way. 

And yet how extreme was the ObamaCare bill, with it's 2,700+ pages?  It was so extreme dozens of members of the President's own party had to bribed, cajoled and threatened into voting for it.  Over 60 members of the House of Representatives alone were forced to give up their seats in the 2010 mid-terms chiefly because of their vote on this issue.  

Now here we are two years later, with the country staggering under a growing $16 trillion debt with no end in sight, and Obama proffers this totally frivolous Buffett rule and tries to sell it as a deficit reduction bill.  When that didn't work, he tried selling it as an economic growth bill that would help create jobs.  Let's remember again, exactly how much 'deficit reduction', 'economic growth' and 'job creation' we'd have gotten from this turkey of a bill: 

Any member of Congress, Democrat or Republican, that looked at this Buffett Rule and saw the actual effects it would have on the financial crisis facing America would struggle to vote for this damn thing.  It is purely cosmetic. It does absolutely nothing to address the real problems the President and the Congress are supposed to be dealing with.  As I said in an earlier post, this is nothing but #fiddlingwhileRomeburns

Oh they did? Well..............drat!

You know why the Buffett Rule failed? Because there are enough members in the Senate who take their job seriously, that's why.  

Obama and the Democrats want to run their campaign this year on the idea that they have all this awesome stuff that will address the country's real and pressing problems, but they can't get anywhere in implementing their awesome stuff because those GODDAMN REPUBLICANS keep voting it down.  They had this awesome Buffett Rule all ready to roll out to help fix the financial difficulties, but it seems those evil nasty rotten Republicans just want the country to collapse or something.

Obama & The Dems are perfectly willing to go after Sen. Paul Ryan who has the balls to publicly put out a plan for dealing with our financial crisis, while they not only won't go public with any plan of their own, they haven't put out a serious budget in 3 years and Reid has even arrogantly informed the nation he has absolutely no intention of bringing a budget to a vote this year.  

Obama is going to spend the next 6 months running on the falsehood that he had a brilliant Buffett rule that would have dealt with the financial problems facing our country, but we all know who sabotaged it.

my awesome Buffett Rule! You'll NEVER figure it out!"

This is where we're at. We've got a total non-leader in the White House who doesn't want to take actual steps to deal with the very real existential crisis hanging over our nation like a Damocles Sword and instead prefers to put forth some travesty of a bill like this, which he knows won't do a damn thing to address the crisis even if it passes.  So he either intended to run for 6 months claiming "I checked the box on the debt/deficit/financial crisis" or "I tried to deal with the problem but the Republicans wouldn't let me."

Now that the votes been taken, we know which version Obama will roll out for the next 6 months.  And every single time he does so, remember one thing:  this guy would rather play political games and try to fool people instead of being a leader and actually dealing with the crisis.  

Anybody who would give him 4 more years after understanding this either wants to see America go under or doesn't care much if it does.

A Planned Parenthood affiliate in Texas knowingly sent in about $6 million in false claims to Medicaid and took steps to cover up its acts, says a federal “whistleblower” lawsuit that was unsealed Friday. 

Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast submitted more than 87,000 reimbursement claims for services that were “false, fraudulent, and/or ineligible,” said the lawsuit filed by Abby K. Johnson on behalf of the United States and the state of Texas in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston. 

Ms. Johnson is a former director of one of the clinics and had “system-wide” access to patient records and billing activities for about two years. 

Ms. Johnson, who became a pro-life activist after viewing an ultrasound and has converted to Catholicism, said Friday she filed the lawsuit under the federal False Claims Act in 2009 “to simply expose Planned Parenthood and expose their corruption, and expose what they are doing with American tax dollars.”

Got that? Planned Parenthood brazenly defrauded Texas taxpayers out of over $6.2 million dollars from the fraudulent Medicaid reimbursements.  

This is the straw that broke the camel's back. PP was already being investigated for not reporting cases of statutory rape to authorities.

For this reason, Texas Governor Rick Perry moved to cut off all public funding from the organization while the investigations continue in order to determine exactly how much Planned Parenthood stole from taxpayers.   

NOW PLANNED PARENTHOOD IS SUING THE STATE OF TEXAS TO GET THE MONEY FLOWING AGAIN.

There is no such thing as a 'Planned Parenthood affiliate'.  It's all Planned Parenthood. This is just a shell game they use to funnel money back and forth.  Any taxpayer money given to these PP 'affiliates' goes right into PP's pockets.

The Department of Health and Human Services, which enforces the rule, issued a statement saying it believes the state was within its rights to pass the new law. Last month, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott sued the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services demanding that it restore off funding for the Women’s Health program. 

“Federal law gives states the right and responsibility to establish criteria for Medicaid providers, so we’re on firm legal ground,” the statement said. “We’ll continue to work with the Attorney General’s Office to fully enforce state law and continue federal funding for the Women’s Health Program.”

Note that the NYT's article doesn't mention what triggered PP being cut off from Medicare & Medicaid Services: PP being investigated for over $6 million dollars worth of Medicaid fraud.  The NYT's makes it sound like Texas just decided to declare a war on women's health or something.  


Well the truth is coming out.  For far too long this corrupt and evil organization has sucked up taxpayer's cash while presiding over an industry of death.  They have been exposed and we all need to stand together to make sure they are held accountable for every penny they stole and every unborn life they took.  

Yes, Liberals Really DO Believe They

Otherwise, there is no possible explanation as to how Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner can say this without bursting into laughter: 

Yes, Tim Geithner actually said that on Meet The Press on Sunday morning, April 15, 2012.  

Liberals are not results/experience oriented. Their personalities are not wired that way.  They are instead intentions/theory oriented.  They are in love with ideas, with the sound of words, with nice theories that they push to prove they care more than others.  

Note also how Geithner tries to give himself some leeway by talking about just the last 5 months.  How does that help Obama? Any energy policy changes enacted 5 months ago wouldn't have had much of an effect by now.  And Obama & Co. have been running the nations energy policy since January 2009, a hell of a lot longer than 5 months ago.  


Gas was $1.85 when Obama took office.  Here in my part of Texas it's currently $3.69 a gallon.  Geithner saying the Obama Admin. should get credit for the fact that energy prices hasn't risen all that much in the last 5 months would be comically lampooned in the media if he had worked for Bush.  


Instead, watch how fast the mainstream media memory-holes this gaffe.
